KEIGHLEY Douglas is a teacher and Head of Year in a secondary school in Greenwich, London. She has a huge interest in sports, particularly athletics which she used to compete in and now coaches. In 2020 Keighley launched Kids Black History which is a TV show that teaches young children black history which she now runs alongside her teaching. Kids Black History has a popular following particularly on YouTube with over 20k subscribers. Since the launch they have had episodes acquired by Hopster TV, Blakademiks TV and Sensical TV by Common Sense Media. More recently they collaborated with Milkshake TV on channel 5 to release 7 special black history episodes. Keighley is currently also working on a non-fiction text for a major UK publisher.
