JOANNA (Jo) Benn is an environmental storyteller and communications strategist with more than twenty-five years of experience working with the United Nations, international NGOs, and top scientists and ecologists on wildlife, climate, and nature. She likes asking questions… and is fascinated by this wonderful planet we live on, alongside its extraordinary creatures. Her quest for adventure has taken her abroad to live and work in many different countries. Bridging science and human wellbeing, she gives voice to playful and powerful books about nature and how it shapes us, and we shape it. She is fascinated by the power of ideas, and equally the value of a pause as a certified yoga and mindfulness teacher. Her debut non-fiction children’s book, ‘The World’s Curious Creatures’ is due out in 2027.
