SHARON Tregenza was born and brought up in Cornwall but has since lived in many places including, Cyprus, Dubai, Sharjah and Wales.
Her debut novel, ‘TARANTULA TIDE’ won the Kelpie’s prize, the Heart of Hawick award and was long-listed for the Branford Boase.

‘THE SHIVER STONE’ another MG mystery published by Firefly Press, was ‘highly commended’ for the Welsh Book Council’s Award. Sharon’s third book, ‘THE JEWELLED JAGUAR’ will be published by Firefly Press in September 2017.

Sharon has an MA in Creative Writing from the University of Wales and a second Masters degree in Writing for Young People from Bath Spa University. She is a member of The Society of Authors, The Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators and The Scattered Authors Society.
